Alfalfa is one of the most complete foods available to us, containing important proteins, enzymes, vitamins and minerals. Alfalfa hels to counteract fatigue, toxins and acidity.
Dandelion makes a healthy tonic for the gallbladder and liver. It is a powerful blood cleanser and tonic, and is an excellent digestive aid.
Echinacea is a bloody purifying herb which has a tonic effect on the lymphatic system and glands. Echinacea is particularly useful for restoring vitality if recovering from an illness. Echinacea is also known to be an immune booster.
Fo-ti-tieng assists with the absorption of food in the digestive system and increases the metabolism. Fo-ti-tieng improves energy, the memory, assists with mental fatigue and is said to be a ‘brain food’.
Garlic contains 17 amino acids, 33 sulphur compounds, Vitamins A, C and B1, plus trace amounts of selenium and germanium. Garlic also contains special sugar-regulating factors.
Ginseng is an excellent blood purifier and general tonic. It can be used in the treatment of anemia and other blood diseases, blood sugar problems and even depression. Ginseng promotes mental and physical vitality, aids the digestion and relieves stress and insomnia. Ginseng is especially useful following an illness as it aids recovery and enhances the body’s natural energy resources.
Licorice is known to be an excellent liver-cleansing herb.
Milk Thistle is wonderful for the liver, gallbladder and spleen, and is effective to combat a lack of appetite and dyspepsia.
Parsley is an excellent source of iron and Vitamin C, and is known to be a valuable liver cleanser and an effective digestant. Parsley is effective in the treatment of anemia, fatigue, irritability and general debility.
