Whatever we experience in our lives becomes part of our memories and part of us as a whole. To enable us to make sense of our experience we attach an emotion to that experience. That emotion determines whether the experience is a positive or a negative one.
Our memories have these judgements attached to them and if we have judged our experience to be fearful and/or negative, then our perception makes us feel vulnerable; a victim. Once we believe that we are a ‘victim’ we forfeit our free will. Our ‘choice’ and perception makes us feel powerless and in turn, we begin to behave like the victim. We become fearful. The energy of this fear invites negativity into our life, our heart, body and mind, in order to support our negative belief/s. We give away our personal power to our fears and negative belief and mind-sets.
When dealing with the opposite – positive emotions and belief-sets, the same principles apply. By bombarding the subconscious mind with positive thinking and affirmations, we are able to turn a negative into a positive.
This theory is not just confined to the physical body, but to any disharmony in life covering relationships, trauma, grief and/or childhood issues. A positive attitude brings healing to all areas of our lives.
