According to the Spiritual Law of Responsibility, ‘responsibility’ is the ability to respond appropriately to any situation.
Challenges are sent to us by the Universe in order to check and/or gauge how we respond to each and every situation we are confronted with on a daily basis.
Successive experiences and tests prepare us for spiritual promotion or ‘ascension’. It is our personal responsibility to prove that we are able to handle all situations responsibly. Prior to promotion (or ascension) we must past the tests presented to us. If we rise to all challenges with honesty and integrity our spiritual progress will be enhanced and advanced.
Everything (and everyone) we are given to look after is our responsibility. If we fail to respond to the challenges they will be taken away from us and may be re-presented to us at another time. According to the Spiritual Law of Responsibility we have a responsibility to everything in our lives.
We must take note of how we take care and look after ourselves, our children, our homes, gardens and pets, our possessions, our friends and family, and all of our life choices. We have a responsibility to care for ALL in our lives.
In line with the Spiritual Law of Responsibility we cannot take on great responsibilities in our lives if we do not take proper care of our own needs and lives in general.
Our emotions, physical bodies and overall wellbeing need to be looked after and this is our personal responsibility. According to the Spiritual Law of Responsibility, each and every individual is responsible for their own wellbeing and destiny. We do not have the right to carry someone else’s burdens for them as this would inhibit their personal growth and deny them their responsibilities.
When we take responsibility for someone else’s choices and decisions we do not serve their highest good or spiritual growth. Our responsibility is to strengthen and empower others and to encourage them to carry their own responsibility.
As humans we often project our own judgements and feelings on to others. If we are unable to tell someone about a situation, or how we truly feel about something for fear of hurting them or causing feelings of jealousy, anger or fear, we are the taking responsibility for their feelings and are doing them an injustice in many ways. When we speak and act from a place of honesty we take responsibility for ourselves and in doing so we release ourselves as well as the other person.
The Spiritual Law of Responsibility tells us that true responsibility is the ability to respond to our own needs as well as to the needs of all around us such as other humans, trees, plants, waterways – ALL upon the planet. An evolved being responds graciously to all living creatures in the Universe.
When we understand the Spiritual Law of Responsibility we no longer lay blame on anyone else or project our judgements and feelings on to others.
The Spiritual Law of Responsibility tells us that it isn’t what happens to us that counts – its’ how we react to them.
